In our portrait series titled “Meet the Expert,” we are thrilled to present Franck Pereira Dos Santos from SYRTE/CNRS.
Franck is one of the two scientific PIs of the CARIOQA mission. In the CARIOQA-PMP project, he is involved in the definition of the key specifications of the quantum accelerometer and its subsystems, and provides the industrial consortium with his expertise in the realization and characterization of high performance quantum sensors based on atom interferometry. In particular, he is in charge of the modelling of the atom interferometer, a key component of the full mission simulator. He will also take an active part in the testing and validation of the sensor after the integration phase.
