CARIOQA-PMP partners gathered in Milano on 7 and 8 November for the first General Assembly hosted at the premises of the Politecnico di Milano.
Two days of presentations and workshops provided an overview on the milestones achieved throughout the first 11 months of the project and prepare the work for the upcoming phases. It was an opportunity to exchange between all the partners and members of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Board (STAB) who joined the meeting and provided recommendations to be considered in future activities.
The relevance of CARIOQA-PMP was stressed as a whole strategic programme to ensure EU sovereignty in space research.
The EU-funded CARIOQA-PMP project aims to prepare the deployment of quantum gravimeters/accelerometers in space, and eventually put in orbit a Quantum Pathfinder mission in the coming decade.
